The active ingredients in this medicine are Ferrous Ascorbate & Folic Acid. It is a synthetic form of iron and vitamin C. The combination of the two helps in provider absorption of iron and promotes health production of blood cells especially red blood cells and nerves in the body. Low haemoglobin or red blood cell count or children facing anaemia or loss of appetite should have it. Iron is an important part of your haemoglobin (help carry oxygen through blood to tissue & organs) and myoglobin (helps muscle cells store oxygen).
